Our Name, Vision, Mission, & Values

Our Name:

As a noun, Xtreme means: “The furthest or highest degree of something”. As a verb, Xtreme means: “Of the greatest possible degree or intensity, far beyond the norm in quantity or amount”. The greatest commandment says to “Love the Lord with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength and love your neighbor as yourself.” We like to think of that as Xtreme love. The Bible also tells us that Jesus demonstrated Xtreme love by dying for us (Rom 5:8) and offering to us the free gift of salvation. We think of that as Xtreme grace. Our name symbolizes what God has done for us and how we are to live for others.

Vision:

Bringing grace to a lost world.

By “Lost” we mean those who are far from God, on the fringes of society, burned by religion, or are hurting and in need of help.

Mission:

To reach the lost of Clarksville and the world at large by showing them the unconditional grace of God through active evangelism, Biblical community, corporate worship, and servanthood.

Our mission can be summed up in 3 words: Worship – Connect – Serve
